i did a rates imports and everything was successfully.

However, it is the rates part that i want to ask.

98% of my rates do not fall into the 50% or a fixed mark up when importing.

each destination has a different mark up percentage.

it would be nice if we could define wholesale rate and retail rate our self when keying from excel and have the percentage automatically done.

would that be possible ?

Not really. Typically people receive their wholesale rates and we apply the percentage mark during import.

You can go into Rate Setup and define a markup percentage for each rate though. Then our system will use that % markup during import.

There used to be a way to wipe out all rates but people were using it by mistake too much. Very Happy

I can send you a script to purge ALL rates or you can just wipe out the DTH_AreaCodeRates table.

Your script really works excellent.
After deleting old rates, I imported new rates successfully.
Now when I open Area Code rates and click on any rate. It gives the following error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

Value of "0" is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'Minimum' and 'Maximum'.
Parameter name: Value.

I am sending you the screen shoot also.

Thanks,

Tom

What is the best way to do a global rate change by area code? Thanks for any help,

I would export your sheet to CSV/Excel. Perform the change and then re-import.

Awesome. I had the same question, glad I stumbled upon this thread. Exporting my sheet to CSV did the trick just right.

Thanks again,
