|
|
Hi
my plan is to use DTH for off line ANI based postpaid billing.
i've got few questions
1. How to i create multiple rate plan / package ? the current default rate plan doesnt suit me.
2. How to create rates and then import into the packages / rate plan ? what is the format ?
3.To import CDRs into DTH using .xls , what is the format ?
4. is DTH web based / LAN based or standalone ?
5. How can i change the default $ to RM ?
your software may seems to fit into what we are looking for, but have yet to print out invoices. in the event that the invoice format doesnt suit us, can it be redo into our format ? |

1. You can create as many rate plans as you like in Setup>>VoIP>>Postpaid/Prepaid plans.
2. The format/example is in the Configuring Rates section of a Setting up VoIP Service documentation. It is available at http://146.82.66.86/Web/Documentation/DTHSettingUpVoIPService.doc
3. Do you want to import from a file or are you using FreePBX where we can automatically poll CDR from?
4. It is both. Most internal staff would use our LAN-based client but customers access the system via our web-based Customer Web Portal.
5. $ can be changed to RM on all the reports using Crystal Reports.
6. Both the paper (printed) invoice templates and emailed (HTML) based templates are completely customizable.
I'm going to recommend reading out Setting up VoIP Service document at http://146.82.66.86/Web/Documentation/DTHSettingUpVoIPService.doc. It really help to familirize you with our system
Have a good one,

build a custom app to import ? hmmm i though the import function exists in Import>Call Records ? and all we need to do is to define the necessary fields in excel file.
i tried import data from asterisk/trixbox as excel file but failed
After playing with the sofware for many hours, i love it.
but yet to figure it out how to customized the crystal reports, i am sure the reports part u guys can do that for me. |

You can use Crystal Designer to edit any reports. I'd recommend putting your custom reports in the /CustomReports/ folder. This will protect them during upgrade and the system knows to check that folder for customized versions of existing reports. Just don't change the file name.
Yes, we can do import from Excel as well but we're in the midst of changing it over to CSV because of Excel's limitations. I'll email a copy of the Excel for you to play with keeping in mind it will change somewhat.
A custom app is always an option if you want to use the file you get from your provider. _________________ http://www.dthsoftware.com

Thanks guys for the sample excel copy and speedy reply
To me it looks like a final copy/invoice/itemized billing rather than a raw CDRs format.
What i am looking for in my raw CDRs is something like (date,calling_number,destination,duration) in csv,txt or excel file.
and DTH software will match raw CDR calling_number into DID number thus generate invoices with call details
i believe a custom app should be develop. would it be difficult ? how much would it cost ?
one more question, can 1 customer support many ANI? or what is the max number of ANI for one customer?
sorry for the trouble |

Is there a updated link for set up documentation,
that link is broken and I'm very interested to know how you go about making adjustments.
Thanks
